Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says Ricardo Fuller is 'in with a shout' of being fit for the trip to Everton.

Striker could return from groin injury against Everton

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says Ricardo Fuller is 'in with a shout' of being fit for the trip to Everton at the weekend. Fuller sat out last Saturday's 2-0 home defeat by Premier League champions Manchester United due to a groin injury picked up against Blackpool in the Carling Cup. The Jamaican striker had scored his first goal of the season after coming on as a substitute against Blackpool before suffering the injury. However, he has been making positive strides in training this week and could be back in Pulis' squad for Sunday's game at Goodison Park. Pulis told The Sentinel: "Ric has given it a bit of a blast out on the training field and there doesn't seem to have been any reaction. "That's good news and we'll obviously give him as long as possible to prove his fitness if we think he's in with a shout for Everton." Fuller has yet to find in the net in six Premier League appearances this season, having netted 11 goals following the Potters' return to the top flight last term.
