Skipper looking forward to derby clash

Burnley captain Steven Caldwell is hoping to end the Clarets' dismal away form against arch-rivals Blackburn. Owen Coyle's side travel to Ewood Park next Sunday in the Premier League, looking to claim their first point away from Turf Moor this season, after an excellent run of home results. It will be the first time the Lancashire clubs have met in the top-flight since 1965, and Caldwell is hoping it will be a happy occasion for his side.

Working hard

"We're in a real rich vein of form at home, but it's not something we think about too often - being away on a bad run or at home on a great run," he said. "We just go out there and treat every game on its own merits and do our best to win it. "We just need to keep our feet on the ground, keep working hard and realising what we're doing to achieve these victories and keep doing it. "We'll be doing that come Blackburn, it's a huge game, and we'll be going out there to play in the same way as we always do and to hopefully win the game."
Fit
The Scotland international returned last weekend in the 2-1 win over Birmingham after a spell on the sidelines with a groin injury, and he is determined to make amends for his time out. "I've been disappointed to miss the games I have but these things happen," the 29-year-old told the Lancashire Telegraph. "Hopefully now I'm in for every game if I keep playing well and keep fit. "It's behind me now and I just hope that first and foremost I'm playing next Sunday in what I think is the biggest game of the season so far."
