R's boss to keep a close eye on ill defender
QPR boss Jim Magilton is refusing to panic despite the prospect of being without defender Matthew Connolly for some time.
The one-time Arsenal defender has missed The R's last five games with a virus and there is little prospect of a swift return.
Although Connolly's illness remains a mystery Magilton has confirmed the club are staying on top of his situation.
"We're monitoring the situation closely," confirmed the former Ipswich Town tactician.
Meanwhile, winger Hogan Ephraim has undergone a minor keyhole operation on his ankle and will be out for around six weeks.
