Fulham defender Aaron Hughes has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The Northern Ireland international has been a mainstay of the team since his arrival from Aston Villa in the summer of 2007.
He has now committed his future to Fulham by penning a deal that will keep him at Craven Cottage until 2013.
Hughes follows in the footsteps of his central defensive partner Brede Hangeland, who agreed a new contract last week.
The 30-year-old is happy to be staying with the club and looking forward to the next few seasons.
"I've enjoyed my time at Fulham even during my first season when things weren't going too well on the pitch so I'm delighted to have signed a new deal with the club," Hughes told Fulham's official website.
"The team has performed well all last year and this form has continued into this season so I'm really delighted that I will be here for a bit longer."
