England's rivals hopeful of progressing

Algerian coach Rabah Saadane has told skysports.com that he thinks his side do have a chance of making the last 16 at the World Cup finals next summer. Algeria were drawn in Group C for South Africa, alongside England, Slovenia and USA. And Saadane feels their opening clash with Slovenia will be crucial to their chances. "We were not expecting that group but it is playable but difficult," he told skysports.com. "We will show our qualities and give everything we have got, Slovenia will be an important game, we have to win that game or get out at least something. "USA and England will be difficult but we have a chance, so let's go for it."

Bougherra happy

Rangers ace Madjid Bougherra is also relishing the prospect of facing the likes of England and USA. "It is an exciting draw," Bougherra told L'Equipe. "I am very happy to play England, a great team. I am above all delighted to play USA, I was dreaming about it. "At Rangers, I am playing with two US players, Maurice Edu and DaMarus Beasley. We have never stopped teasing ourselves for a few days."
