Hoops youngster extends contract to summer of 2011

Celtic defender Paul Caddis has signed a one-year contract extension with the Scottish Premier League leaders. The Scotland Under-21 captain has made just three substitute appearances in the league this season and recently spoke of his frustration at his lack of first-team action under Tony Mowbray. The 21-year-old right-back, who spent the end of last term on loan at Dundee United, has agreed to extend his Celtic deal until the summer of 2011 though. "I'm very pleased to agree this new contract with the club," he told the club's official website.

Committed

"I have really enjoyed my time so far at Celtic and have been fortunate to make a number of appearances already in the first team. "This is now something I want to build on and I'm committed to doing all I can to work hard and ensure that I can feature more and more."
