Northampton Town's top-scorer Adebayo Akinfenwa insists he is happy to stay at the club despite their recent struggles, but is aware that a big move in January could be too tempting to resist.
The former Swansea City striker has scored eight goals in his last 16 league appearances for the Cobblers and has attracted interest from a number of clubs of late.
However, he is only focused on doing his best for Northampton at present and claims any move in the New Year would have to be good for both him and the club.
"I always just get my head down and work hard because I am a strong believer in what is meant to be, is meant to be," Akinfenwa told skysports.com.
"So, if I am meant to be at Northampton after January then that is where I will be.
"If a move comes along and it is the right move for both myself and Northampton then so be it, but I'm enjoying my time at the club and I wouldn't move on if it wasn't right for all parties concerned.
"It (Northampton) is a great club, with great fans and a great group of players and I am enjoying my football, so it would be stupid to move if it didn't feel right.
"I'll just continue to work hard and score as many goals as I can to help the club rise up the table."
