Portsmouth striker Frederic Piquionne feels as though he has finally found his feet in English football.
The French forward endured a patchy start to his Premier League career following a summer loan switch from Lyon.
He has, however, been in red hot form of late, with a stunning strike in Pompey's 2-0 victory over Liverpool on Saturday taking his tally for the season to six.
Piquionne is hoping his scoring streak will continue at West Ham on Boxing Day, with the 31-year-old admitting he feels capable of finding the target every time he steps on the field at the moment.
"I have confidence, the coach (Avram Grant) has confidence in me and I work hard in training," he told

"Congratulations to the team because we played well against a strong Liverpool side and we are very happy.

"They had some chances but we scored the important second goal to win the game.
"Now we have an important match against West Ham and we have got to take three points there if we are to stay in the Premier League.
"I scored a good goal on Saturday and my confidence is high. When I shoot I think I can score and I want to continue that at West Ham.
"I am enjoying being in the team. Playing with one or two up front is not important to me. I played those roles in France so it's the same for me.
"As the only striker it's hard because I play against two or three players and have to run a lot. But I feel confident I am going to score and I know I can do better.
"Now we must take points against West Ham like we did on Saturday. We have to keep trying and putting in good performances."
