Blackpool boss still a fan of Bees winger

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has stressed he has no intention of meeting the asking price for Barnet's highly-rated winger Albert Adomah. Holloway tried to sign Adomah before the close of the summer transfer window and remains a fan of the 22-year-old. The Seasiders have been tipped to make a renewed effort to capture Adomah in January after he rejected a bumper new three-year contract at Underhill. However, with reports claiming Barnet value Adomah in the £500,000 bracket, Holloway confirmed he is not prepared to pay such a sum. "The fact is his chairman wanted a ridiculous amount of money and I totally refused to pay it," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette. "On what I've seen, and what my scouts have reported back to me, I think it is an inflated price and I'm not going to pay it. "I still like him as a lad. He is a good player and he does all sorts of things right. "But am I going to spend the amount of money that his chairman thinks he is worth? The answer is an absolute no."
