Hannover have announced the signing of Karlsruher midfielder Lars Stindl for next season.
Stindl has agreed a three-year contract with Hannover and will move on a free transfer once his contract expires at Karlsruher at the end of the season
Hannover confirmed the move will still go through should they be relegated to the second division at the end of the season.
The Reds currently occupy 16th place, which would leave them with a play-off match for a place in the top-flight against the third-placed team in the second division should the situation remain the same.
