Midfielder keen to agree new deal at Keepmoat Stadium

Doncaster midfielder John Oster is holding talks over extending his stint at the Keepmoat Stadium. The former Wales international has been a big hit with Rovers since signing on a short term deal in August, making 36 league starts and scoring once. Despite a successful season, his future remains uncertain as his contract expires this summer. But the 31-year-old is hopeful of securing a new deal with initial discusssions under way. He told the Grimsby Telegraph: "It's been a good season for me. I'm talking now with the club and hoping to sort something out. "Who knows what's going to happen, I'll leave that to my agent and try and enjoy my summer as best as I can."
