Striker out of tournament with broken ankle
Slovenia striker Nejc Pecnik has been ruled out of the rest of the World Cup with a broken ankle.
Pecnik broke his right ankle following a challenge with USA midfielder Clint Dempsey during Friday's 2-2 draw between the two sides.
Pecnik only came on as a late substitute in the game before picking up the injury and his tournament is now over.
The news is a blow for Slovenia, but a boost for England ahead of their vital meeting next Wednesday.
Slovenia currently lead Group C with four points from two games and need only a draw with England to reach the second round.
