Al-Muhammadi attracting interest

Sunderland and West Brom are battling to land in-demand Egyptian Ahmed Al-Muhammadi, skysports.com understands. Al-Muhammadi has long been linked with a move to England, and has spent time on trial with the likes of Blackburn and Sunderland. The 22-year-old, who can play anywhere down the right, is now set for a move to the Premier League - with both Sunderland and West Brom looking to take him on loan. His club ENPPI are now considering their options, but they are believed to be open to the idea of letting Al-Muhammadi leave on loan - with a view to a permanent deal. Sources in Egypt suggest Al-Muhammadi could travel to England for talks this week.
