Juve striker preparing to study Europa League rivals

Davide Lanzafame says Juventus are preparing for plenty of study ahead of their Europa League clash with Shamrock Rovers. The Irish side secured an aggregate win over Israeli outfit Bnei Yehuda to set up the glamour tie against the Italian giants in the third qualifying round. The Irish minnows host Juve on Thursday 29th July before the return leg in Italy a week later. And while Lanzafame admits the clash with Shamrock will be a voyage into the unknown, he is happier to be facing the Irish outfit.

Better

The striker told Juventus Channel: "Seeing the length of the trip, it is better to travel to Ireland than to Israel. "We do not know Shamrock Rovers, however and therefore we have to study them through videos." Lanzafame is back in the fold at the Delle Alpi after spending most of last season at Parma on loan from co-owners Juve and Palermo. While the striker believes they are building well for the coming campaign, it will take time for new boss Luigi Del Neri to fashion a team.
Improving
He said: "We are improving and now that the internationals are back we are working very much on tactics, adding new elements to our targets and we will be ready for the friendly match against Lyon and the Europa League match. "We need time (to be a team). At first you get to know each other and get used to one another but to become a team you need months of work."
