Park not worried about Blues

Midfielder Park Ji-sung is confident Manchester United will improve as the season goes on.

South Korean expects United to improve

Park Ji-sung is confident Manchester United will improve as the season goes on and is not paying much attention to Chelsea's strong start. United are currently two points behind the reigning Premier League champions after winning two of their opening three games. The Red Devils, who also drew 2-2 with Fulham, traditionally save their best form for the latter stages of the campaign. And South Korea international Park fully expects United to get better, despite being satisfied with results so far. "We're pleased to have won two of our three games, but we know we can still improve," the midfielder told ManUtd.kr. "We are experienced enough to know that as we get more games under our belt, our qualities will shine through."

Ups and downs

Chelsea have scored 14 goals without conceding any but Park insists there is no concern at United about the form of their rivals. The 29-year-old knows there is plenty of football to be played and believes Chelsea, like every team, will encounter the odd blip. "It has been a good start for Chelsea but we are not worried about that as it is a very long season," Park explained. "Each team has their ups and downs and the real test for Chelsea will come when things are not going so well for them."
