French forward Pierre-Alain Frau is disappointed that Lille will not consider extending his contract.
The 30-year-old, who is in his fourth season with the Ligue 1 club, will be a free agent next summer when his current deal expires.
However, despite his 13 league goals last term, Lille officials have refused to offer him a new contract.
Unfair
"I have experienced unfairness," Frau told
L'Equipe. "I like Lille and I wanted to be part of the project and discover the new stadium (in 2012).
"I still don't understand why they don't want to prolong my contract.
"The officials told me I don't represent the club's future and on a financial level it is not possible.
"Here, no one has helped me. I have been given nothing."
While frustrated with Lille, Frau has pledged to remain with the club until the end of the campaign.
"I will finish the season at Lille, then we will see," he added. "I ask myself a lot of questions about my future.
"I have a complex relationship with Lille. They don't wish to keep me for some time now, I have accepted that idea."
Frau says he is comforted by the support of his team-mates, and insists there is no problem between him and head coach Rudy Garcia.
Reassured
"I am reassured because I have trust from my team-mates," he said. "I have friends here and it helps me a lot.
"I have a normal relationship with the coach Rudy Garcia. We don't have knowing gestures, but we have respect.
"Anyway, I have contested neither his choices nor decisions."
