FC Twente have completed the signing of veteran Arnold Bruggink on a short-term deal.
The 33-year-old attacker has been without a side following his exit from German side Hannover in the summer but has been training with the club where he began his career 17 years ago.
And he has impressed coach Michel Preud'homme enough to be offered a deal with the Eredivisie champions until the end of the season.
However, the boost of Bruggink's signature has been tempered by news that Nicky Kuiper is set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines after suffering ligament damage in his knee.
