Mario Balotelli's agent has cast fresh doubt over whether the striker is happy at new club Man City.

Striker not entirely happy at City

Mario Balotelli's agent has cast fresh doubt over whether the striker is happy at new club Manchester City but says there is a plan in place for him to become the best player in the world. Reports have surfaced linking the 20-year-old with a move away from Eastlands despite the fact that he only arrived from Inter Milan over the summer. Balotelli indicated that he was committed to the club earlier this week by saying that he would need time to settle into English football after an injury-plagued start to his City career. His representative Mino Raiola has previously played down transfer speculation but admits Balotelli could be more enthused about his new surroundings. The Italian has nevertheless been urged to keep faith in Raiola if he wants to fulfil his ambition of becoming the greatest footballer on the planet. "Balotelli happy at Manchester? So-so," the agent told Premium Calcio. "But there is a plan for him. I have promised that he will win the Golden Ball three times and he trusts me."

Robinho

Raiola is also the agent of Robinho and has revealed that Balotelli's arrival at City triggered another plan, for the Brazilian to leave the club. Robinho joined AC Milan in August to end a frustrating two-year spell with City, although he had been hopeful of joining Barcelona. "When I took Balotelli to City, Robinho begged me to set him free from the English club," Raiola recalled. "He said, 'if you bring Ibrahimovic to City, I know that Barcelona will buy me'. I told him to stay calm. "I took Ibra to Milan and then I said to (Milan vice-president Adriano) Galliani 'let's leave immediately for England, to beat Barca to Robinho'. And so he moved to Milan."
