Highly-rated striker Marquis marked his full debut with an injury-time equaliser as the Lions held Norwich to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening.
The 18-year-old has come through the youth ranks in South London and is regarded as one of the best young prospects at the club.
Millwall are keen to reward Marquis' progress with a new deal and talks are thought to be at an advanced stage.
