Hearts ace dreaming of move to English football

Hearts defender Ismael Bouzid hopes to earn a move to England by helping the club secure a top-three finish. The France-born Algeria international has been in fine form and the Jambos are riding high near the top of the SPL table. Bouzid, 27, is out of contract at the end of the season and he has confirmed his dream is to one day play football in England. He was close to joining Sunderland earlier in his career, however, Metz would not sanction his move to the Black Cats.

Dream

"It has always been my dream to play in England," he said. "If Hearts finish in the top three maybe English clubs will come to watch me. "But I think we can end up in the top two. Why not? That would increase my chances. "When I was 18 Peter Reid wanted to sign me for Sunderland. "I was offered a contract and wanted to go but my club Metz wouldn't let me leave."
