Midfielder eyes more goals for Trotters

Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden admits scoring his first goal for the club is a weight off his shoulders. The American international broke his duck for Bolton with a goal in the 3-2 win over Wolves at the weekend, his 17th appearance for the Trotters. The 25-year-old is now hoping his opening strike for the club will be the first of many for Owen Coyle's side, who are up to fifth. "Let's hope it's the first of many goals," Holden told the club's official website. "It was a well-worked goal with the passing sequence that led up to it. Chungy [Lee Chung-Yong] made a great run, Davo [Kevin Davies] found him and all I had to do was finish it off.

Weight off shoulders

"It's a bit of a weight off my shoulders. I was putting a little bit of pressure on myself to get off the mark because I do want to chip in with my fair share of goals. "It's an aim of mine to pick up five or six a season because it is important to share the goals around. "Once you break your duck then the confidence starts flowing but as long as the team wins then I'm happy."
