Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell is thinking positively as he battles back from a cruciate ligament injury.
The 23-year-old has been on the sidelines since sustaining the injury in the win over Manchester City in August.
The former Manchester United player admits being told the extent of the damage left him at the lowest ebb of his career - but he is determined to push on and not feel sorry for himself.
He told the club's
official website: "When I went home after the game it didn't feel too bad. The scan wasn't too bad, either.

"But when I had it the doctor said I would be out for six months and it really hit me that night.
"That was probably the lowest point of my career but I just had to sweep it under the carpet and get on with it. You don't get better by dwelling on things."
The striker is working hard on his recovery and wants to come back quicker and stronger than before.
"Things are going okay," he added.
Slow steps
"I'm making slow steps towards my goal. An injury like this sometimes makes me sit back and realise how much I love going out there and playing football.
"That's especially true of big games like the one at Chelsea recently. It makes me want to come back quicker and stronger than I was before.
"I was kicking every ball at home (watching the game against the Blues), running round and celebrating every goal. In general though, I try to tone things down when I'm watching with the family.
"We have a great medical team here (at the club) and they have been fantastic with me. The time is flying by. The first couple of months are the hardest and I've found them comparatively easy, so I think things are going really well."
