Rochdale manager Keith Hill has moved to ease the goalkeeping crisis at the club by signing West Brom's Luke Daniels on an emergency loan.
Josh Lillis is Dale's regular No.1 but he suffered a hamstring injury against Oldham last week.
Lillis is on loan from Championship side Scunthorpe and has returned there for treatment on the injury.
Youngster Matty Edwards replaced Lillis in the game against the Latics, but he too has been struggling with injury, prompting Hill to delve into the loan market.
Daniels is expected to make his debut for Dale against Peterborough this Friday, providing the weather holds out.
