Striker set for talks with Hull

Skysports.com understands Hull City have agreed a fee with Leicester for striker Matty Fryatt and have been granted permission to open talks with the player. As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week, Hull had lodged a bid for Fryatt as they look to bolster their attacking options in the January transfer window. Fryatt came close to a move away from Leicester during the last loan window with a number of clubs chasing his signature. Hull have held a long-term interest in the 24-year-old with Tigers boss Nigel Pearson keen to be reunited with Fryatt following their success together at Leicester. A number of other clubs are thought to be interested in Fryatt, but Hull have stolen a march on their rivals by agreeing an undisclosed fee with Leicester for the prolific forward. Fryatt has struggled for regular football at Leicester since the arrival of Sven Goran Eriksson and he is thought to be keen on a move away for a new challenge. If terms can be agreed Fryatt is expected to tie up his move to the KC Stadium when the transfer window reopens next month. You can follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/@skysportspeteo
