Wolves have confirmed their interest in signing striker Leigh Griffiths from cash-strapped Dundee. As revealed by skysports.com, the Midlands outfit were linked with the 20-year-old on Wednesday as they bid to bolster their ranks and stay in the Premier League. Wolves CEO Jez Moxey has now confirmed the speculation, revealing the club are negotiating a possible deal for the player, with a fee believed to be in the region of £150,000. Moxey told the club's official website: "We are looking at new recruitment in this January window. "We are in discussions with the Dundee administrators over the possible signing of Leigh Griffiths." The Scotland Under 21 international has been attracting interest after netting 10 league and cup goals for Dundee this term. Dundee had previously confirmed they had received a formal offer for the forward but refused to reveal the identity of the club involved.
