Ghana defender hints at Cottagers exit

Out-of-favour Fulham defender John Pantsil believes there is 'no future' for him at Craven Cottage. The 29-year-old, who is out of contract with the Cottagers in the summer, has made just 16 appearances for Mark Hughes' side this season. Pantsil, signed from West Ham by former boss Roy Hodgson in July 2008, has not featured since February at Aston Villa, when he scored an own goal, as he did against Liverpool earlier in the campaign. The Ghana international has slipped behind Carlos Salcido in Hughes' pecking order and feels his time at Craven Cottage is coming to an end. Pantsil, who featured for Ghana during their friendly against England at Wembley last month, told KickOffGhana.com: "I haven't spoken about it before, but there is no future for me at Fulham. "I know my agent is working hard to resolve the situation. "It has been a difficult season for me. "I have made mistakes and I will be the first to admit, but to go from a first-team member to having to watch the game from the stands has been difficult to take."
