France international keeper steers clear of transfer talk

Hugo Lloris has attempted to avoid questions regarding his future by insisting his focus is on Lyon's title bid. The 24-year-old has been the subject of intense speculation over recent weeks, with it suggested that he could be on the move this summer. Manchester United are among the clubs reported to be keen on the France international, as they seek a long-term replacement for the retiring Edwin van der Sar. Lloris, though, is keen to steer clear of the issue for now, with Lyon having fired themselves back into the Ligue 1 title race over the weekend. He told France Football: "My future? Today I am only focused on the remaining games of the season in Le Championnat.

Sensible

"The lowest we can aim for is Champions League qualification. It is very close and we have to give our all until the last day. "We have to be sensible and make sure we finish inside the top-three before thinking about the title. "I feel perfectly happy at Lyon. I have everything I need to help me improve and blossom, so I haven't asked any questions about my future. "Do I see myself being at Lyon long-term? I don't think like that, I think only about tomorrow. That allows me to be focused and not waste too much energy."
