Striker brushes off speculation of summer move to Man Utd

Nikica Jelavic has brushed off suggestions he could leave SPL champions Rangers in the summer to join Manchester United. The Croatian striker has enjoyed a hugely impressive debut season at Ibrox after scoring 19 goals despite a spell of almost four months on the sidelines part way through the campaign. He recently claimed that his agent had been in contact with English Premier League champions United regarding a possible £13million move. However, the 25-year-old forward, who joined Rangers for £4million from Rapid Vienna last summer, claims he is happy in Glasgow. Jelavic said in the Daily Record: "Frankly, I do not think about leaving because I am loving it at Rangers. "Some of the stories about me leaving were simply people getting excited over nothing. "We actually joked at Rangers about me leaving to go there. I don't think I need to push myself for sale."
