Gabon defender mentioned as Toffees target

Reports in France and Africa have claimed Lorient defender Ecuele Manga is a firm target for Everton. Ligue 1 rivals Lille, Marseille and PSG are also thought to be keen on the Gabon international, who impressed last term after joining Lorient from second division Angers. The 22-year-old centre-back admits he would be flattered just to be on Everton boss David Moyes' radar. But the former Bordeaux squad man stressed that he is yet to receive any offers this summer. "I am delighted with all this attention on me," Manga told skysports.com. "I have a contract until 2014 but Everton is a fantastic club and I would be delighted to even be considered for their team. "I love the passion at Goodison Park. But like I said, it is only paper talk and neither I nor the club have been approached."
