Zamparini insists young star's exit is not imminent

Palermo's club president Maurizio Zamparini claims they have not received any offers for sought-after midfielder Javier Pastore. The Argentine playmaker is a target of several top European clubs, with Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona all reportedly in the hunt to secure his services. The 21-year-old has said he will not make a decision on his future until after next month's Copa America. But Zamparini has confirmed Palermo are yet to receive a concrete bid for their prized asset, who is under contract until June 2015 and valued at €50million. "We haven't even received half an offer for Pastore," he told Corriere dello Sport.

Zamparini also denied reports that French side Paris St Germain have joined the race for the highly-rated youngster. "I am not aware of that," added the Palermo chief. "We will see Javier's agent today. "It's not difficult to sell him, in fact it's very easy, but you just have to know which club to sell him to." Palermo paid €19m to sign Pastore from Huracan in 2009 and he was their top scorer in Serie A last season with 11 goals.
