Wolves defender Jody Craddock has signed a new one-year contract and is now looking ahead to the new season.
Craddock was offered a new deal by manager Mick McCarthy at the end of last season after playing his part in keeping Wolves in the Premier League.
The 35-year-old made 15 appearances in the top flight last term after spending a spell on the sidelines due to hip and thigh injuries.
He has been at Molineux since 2003 and is happy that he will have the opportunity to play in the Premier League again next term.
Big achievement
"It's good news that the contract is all done and dusted and I can concentrate on the year ahead," said Craddock.
"This time last year I was thinking it would be my last season so to get another 12 months is a big achievement."
McCarthy is expected to improve his defensive options in the summer after being linked with Reading's Matt Mills and Birmingham's Roger Johnson, but Craddock is ready to fight for his palce.
Craddock added: "There may be competition but it's never a problem for me when a new centre-half comes in.
"It's all about what benefits the club. If I have to scrap it out with another centre-half, so be it.
"I just need to give myself the best opportunity to be involved at the start of the season."
