Rangers have confirmed that Steven Whittaker and Allan McGregor have agreed long-term contract extensions at Ibrox.
It was speculated that the pair could leave the Scottish champions, despite three successive league titles, after drawn-out discussions regarding their respective futures in Glasgow.
Defender Whittaker, who was in the final year of his previous deal, was the subject of three failed bids from Turkish side Bursaspor and last week he rejected a new deal from Rangers.
Goalkeeper McGregor had two years remaining on his previous deal, but was linked to several Premier League clubs in England.
However, the duo have ended all speculation by committing to Rangers, with Whittaker signing for five years and McGregor signing for six years.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Rangers can today confirm that three-in-a-row heroes Allan McGregor and Steven Whittaker have signed long-term deals with the champions."
The pair join Northern Ireland forward David Healy and utility man Andrew Little, Bosnian left-back Sasa Papac and French-Algerian winger Salim Kerkar in signing new deals at Ibrox.
The quartet have all agreed new one-year contracts, while captain David Weir is also expected to agree a 12-month extension this week.
