English eyes on Gerndt

Premier League clubs tracking Swedish ace

Skysports.com understands Fulham, Blackburn and West Brom are all keen on Swedish ace Alexander Gerndt. But the 24-year-old international striker seems more likely to be destined for Germany or Holland. The Premier League trio are closely following the Helsingborg striker, who has scored 19 goals in his last 29 games. However, whilst the English clubs are keen - and all watched him in action on Monday - it appears other clubs are further ahead with their interest. Utrecht and FC Twente are both very keen, whilst German sides Cologne, Kaiserslautern and Wolfsburg are all also hot on his trail. FC Copenhagen have made a firm offer too, but they have just signed Molde striker Pape Pate Diouf.
