Nottingham Forest will cast an eye over trialists Lee Cook and Riga Mustapha in a reserve fixture on Wednesday.

Reds will also hand Mustapha a run out in reserve fixture

Nottingham Forest will cast an eye over trialists Lee Cook and Riga Mustapha in a reserve fixture on Wednesday. Both men will line-up for the Reds in a meeting with Stoke. Cook has been given permission to feature by his current employers Queens Park Rangers. The Premier League outfit are keen to send the midfielder out on loan and Forest are prepared to offer him an opportunity to impress. The midfielder has struggled with injuries in recent times, but is back to full fitness and keen to reignite his career.

Mustapha, meanwhile, is looking to secure a return to English football after a spell in Spain. The former Holland U21 international has previously turned out for Bolton, but saw his contract terminated in January. The 29-year-old will be hoping to put his Premier League experience to good use against the Potters. Both Cook and Mustapha have been training with the Reds since Monday, as Steve McClaren attempts to bring fresh faces into his squad and ease the mounting pressure on his shoulders.
