Liverpool youngster heads to Bloomfield Road

Liverpool have agreed to let Jonjo Shelvey join Blackpool on loan, skysports.com understands. A number of clubs have been looking at 19-year-old Shelvey, who joined the Reds last year from Charlton Athletic. He has now made over 15 Premier League appearances for the Anfield outfit, but Kenny Dalglish has not used him in the top-flight this season. Daglish has now agreed to let Shelvey go out on loan and it is understood he is heading for Bloomfield Road. A number of Championship clubs were looking at the England Under-21 midfielder, but Blackpool have won the race for his services. He will join former Liverpool team-mates Thomas Ince and Gerardo Bruna with Ian Holloway's side after they moved on permanent deals this summer.
