Striker ruled out of final two qualifiers

France will be without striker Karim Benzema for their final two Euro 2012 qualifiers against Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Laurent Blanc's side face Albania in Paris on Friday and Bosnia-Herzegovina four days later, also at home, looking to secure their place at next year's finals in Ukraine and Poland. But Real Madrid frontman Benzema will play no part after suffering a thigh muscle injury during his club's UEFA Champions League win over Ajax last week and missing their weekend win over Espanyol. Blanc told L'Equipe: "The nature of the injury means he has no chance, so I can understand that his club will want him to recover as quickly as possible with them." France lead Group D by a point from Bosnia with just the two home qualifiers left.
