Finn ready to move on after almost nine years in Eredivisie

AZ Alkmaar defender Niklas Moisander has revealed he is keen to make a move abroad at the end of the current season. The 26-year-old Finn, who was close to joining PSV Eindhoven in the summer but saw the switch blocked by AZ, is contracted in Alkmaar until 2014. But after spending nine seasons in the Netherlands, Moisander is eager to move on and is eyeing a foreign adventure. "After this season I have been in the Netherlands nine years," he told Voetbal International. "I would love to play in another league. "You never know how many chances you get in life." Moisander, who joined AZ from FC Zwolle in 2008, expects the current season to be his last in Alkmaar. "I hope so," he added. "This is my fourth season here and I think it would be better for my development if I find a different challenge."
