Di Canio impressed by the attitude of Palace rookie Foderingham

Swindon Town manager Paolo Di Canio is hoping to finalise a deal to sign Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wes Foderingham on loan. Former Bromley keeper Foderingham has yet to make the breakthrough at Palace and has been training with Swindon this week. He has impressed Di Canio with his attitude and the League Two club are now looking to add Foderingham to their squad. "I like him as a goalkeeper and I spoke to him today (Thursday)," said Di Canio. "He is excited to be with us and as usual when I sign a player I look in their eyes to see if they are ready to accept the challenge. "He told me he wants to sign because he is very happy here and I think it will go through. "We have to decide if it is one month or until January. We need to have the challenge for Mattia (Lanzano) and Phil (Smith)."
