Rovers wide-man focused on relegation battle

Blackburn winger Martin Olsson is focusing on his side's weekend clash with Wigan after appearing for Sweden at Wembley. The 23-year-old shook off an ankle injury to play 90 minutes on Tuesday evening as Sweden fell 1-0 to the Three Lions. Olsson admits it was a 'dream' to play at Wembley but must now turn his attention to the crunch encounter at the DW Stadium on Saturday. "I was very excited and it is a dream that has come true," he told the Lancashire Telegraph. "To play for my country on such a famous stage, it is unbelievable. "My ankle had been a problem, but I had an injection and it feels better now. "I was a bit doubtful for the England game as I hadn't trained in the week following the Chelsea game, but there was no way I was going to miss the match. "It felt good afterwards, I was a bit tired but I am okay. You can't say no to playing at Wembley. "We (Blackburn) have now got a big game, we've got to win it and get the three points. That is all that matters." Blackburn are currently 19th in the Premier League but are only one point above Roberto Martinez's Latics.
