Steven Davis insists Rangers are not worried after seeing Celtic close the gap on them at the top of the table.
The Gers were held to a goalless draw at home to St Johnstone, allowing Celtic to move to within 10 points of their Old Firm rivals following their victory at Inverness.
Celtic could close the gap to four points before Rangers next play at Kilmarnock next Sunday if they win their game in hand against Dunfermline and Saturday's meeting with St Mirren.
However, Davis insists no-one in the Ibrox camp is panicking at seeing Celtic making inroads into their lead at the summit.
"I think there is going to be plenty of to-ing and fro-ing between now and the end of the season," said Davis.
"As players, we are not concentrating on that. We just want to keep the consistency going and keep winning games.
"We are not too concerned really about where Celtic are at this moment in time.
"There is so much football still to be played. We're not even thinking about our lead, it's just about keeping winning our own games.
"That's what we've always tried to do since I've been at the club."
Not good enough
Davis conceded Rangers' performance against St Johnstone was not up to standard.
"It just wasn't good enough to be fair. We all realise that," added Davis
"In terms of possession of the ball, we didn't do that well enough and if you keep giving the opposition the ball it's going to make things 10 times more difficult. We didn't create anything.
"There were a number of factors and credit has to go to St Johnstone as well because they played a good game and they will be delighted with the result themselves.
"We can only look at ourselves and the fact that we didn't produce the goods. I think there was a little bit of spark missing."
