Juventus legend not discussing his plans after the season

Juventus forward Alessandro Del Piero continues to remain coy over his future after the end of the season. The 37-year-old's current contract with the Italian giants runs out in the summer and it has already been announced that a renewal would not be put into place. Del Piero has said that he wants to continue playing beyond next summer but has refused to name any club that he hopes to feature for in the 2012/13 campaign and beyond. And he continued to maintain that stance when he told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "It's such a beautiful time with Juve leading Serie A that I don't see why I should think about my future right now. "My future is on Saturday, I don't want to think about what will happen after June."

Suffer

Antonio Conte's Juve are currently in pole position in Serie A with 22 points from 10 matches, level on points with Lazio but ahead on goal difference. The Bianconeri also have a game in hand and defeated Palermo 3-0 at home on Sunday to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign. Del Piero has started just twice for Juventus and although he is overjoyed with his team's performances, he admits that he is suffering having to watch from the bench. "I suffer on the bench but as captain, I am delighted with the good run of form by the team," he stated.
