Defender has spoken to Majstorovic about possible move to Parkhead

Sweden international Mikael Lustig is confident he would fit in at Celtic, but says he has yet to discuss a move to the SPL club. The Rosenborg defender's contract is due to expire and he has been linked with Espanyol and Fulham, in addition to Celtic. He has spoken to compatriot Daniel Majstorovic regarding life at Parkhead and is excited by the possibility of joining the Bhoys. Lustig believes his style of play would be suited to Neil Lennon's side and is awaiting an update from his agent, who has spoken to the club.

Dream

"I'd fit in at a club like Celtic," Lustig told the Daily Record. "I have not had any contact with them personally but my agent has. "Celtic is pretty much the same as Rosenborg when it comes to how they play. "My dream is to go to a club in a bigger league and play against the best players. "But my style of playing is best suited to a team in the top of the league who plays an attacking style. "Celtic seems exciting. It is not the best league but it sounds interesting. "I have not spoken with Johan (Mjallby, Celtic's assistant manager) but I talked with Daniel to check things out."
