Benfica ace Nicolas Gaitan insists that he wants to make history with the club before leaving. The Argentina international joined Benfica last year from Boca Juniors and has emerged as one of their key performers. A host of clubs are now believed to be checking the 23-year-old, including Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool. "The day of my arrival at Benfica, I fulfilled a dream," he told Abola. "But now things have changed and I love the club, my objective is to stay and to help my team-mates achieve big success. "I want to make history with Benfica and to win titles. "People thought that I was just the new Angel Di Maria, but in this time I have demonstrated that I am different. "I don't get preoccupied with the rumours about links to other clubs - I am happy with the praise, but I am focussed on Benfica."
