Ally McCoist has admitted it is likely that Rangers will appeal after Lee McCulloch was sent off in the 2-1 defeat at St Mirren.

Ally McCoist has admitted it is likely that Rangers will appeal after Lee McCulloch was sent off in the 2-1 defeat at St Mirren on Saturday.
McCulloch was dismissed in the first half for violent conduct when Rangers were leading 1-0 following an incident with Graham Carey.
Gers boss McCoist believes the midfielder's red card was harsh and will assess the merits of an appeal in the hope of having McCulloch available for next Wednesday's Old Firm derby against Celtic.
"We will have a look at it again in the next couple of hours and decide whether we are going to appeal," said McCoist.
"I'll have a chat with Lee but it's a distinct possibility."
No malice
He added: "There is no doubt it changed the game. The ball actually went into the back of the net as well, which a lot of people maybe forget, so it might have been 2-0.
"I've seen it once and I would have to say it was extremely harsh. I've had a good chat with Lee McCulloch and he assures me there was no malice at all and he was just trying to fend the boy off. The boy actually had an arm around his waist.
"I'm a wee bit disappointed with how the boy went down to be honest with you and no physio came on to my knowledge.
"It changed the game, there is no doubt about it, and we are disappointed with it."
Rangers were later reduced to nine men after Dorin Goian was shown a second yellow card and McCoist feels the defender was also unfortunate to have been dismissed.
Asked if he was annoyed by that red card, McCoist said: "Yes I am, but that's just the referee to be fair. The referee will tell you technically he is right and that's it.
"There is nothing I can say on it anymore other than he probably could have stayed on the park."
