On-loan striker delighted at Easter Road stay

Leigh Griffiths will remain with Hibernian for the rest of the SPL season after his loan from Wolves was extended. The former Livingston and Dundee forward is down the pecking order at Molineux and has been told he can leave. The 21-year-old has scored four goals for his boyhood club since arriving at Easter Road in August and is pleased to be staying.

Pleased

"I've enjoyed every minute of my time here at Hibs so far and the fact I'm going to stay at least until the summer is something I'm really pleased about," he told the club's official website. "I want to give everything I can to help the team to achieve success and improved results during the second half of the season. "I love playing for Hibs and this whole experience has been like a dream come true for me." Meanwhile, teenage winger David Crawford has left Hibernian by mutual consent. The 19-year-old made three appearances for the Easter Road club.
