Sky Sports understands Blackpool have made an enquiry to bring Swansea forward Stephen Dobbie back to Bloomfield Road.
Dobbie enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Swansea in the 2009/10 season helping them win promotion to the Premier League.
The 29-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Swansea side this season, making just nine appearances.
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is keen to bolster his squad during this month's transfer window and he is hoping to strike a deal for Dobbie.
A number of other clubs are thought to be monitoring Dobbie's situation at the Liberty Stadium as they wait to find out if Swansea would be prepared to offload the Scot.
