City defender set for talks and medical after fee agreed

Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes is confident of persuading Nedum Onuoha to leave Manchester City for Loftus Road. Rangers have agreed a fee with City for the defender, with Onuoha set to travel to London for talks and a medical. A number of Premier League clubs, including Bolton, Wolves, Everton and West Brom are all thought to be chasing Onuoha, but Hughes is hopeful he can convince the versatile defender to join QPR. "He has personal circumstances, every player does," Hughes told The Sun. "They have to be thought through by the player and they have to be comfortable with the football decision they are making. "A lot of boxes have to be ticked but certainly from a football side, I am sure we can convince him this is where his future lies."
