Pavel Pogrebnyak has completed his move to Fulham from Stuttgart on a six-month contract.

Russia international moves to Craven Cottage until the summer

Pavel Pogrebnyak has completed his move to Fulham from Stuttgart on a six-month contract, the Premier League club have announced. Martin Jol has been after a striker throughout the January transfer window and has now secured the signing of the Russia international. Sky Sports sources on Monday night revealed Pogrebnyak was undergoing a medical with the Craven Cottage club and earlier on Tuesday he secured a work permit. The 28-year-old started his career at his hometown club, Spartak Moscow, spending loan spells with Baltika Kaliningrad, Khimki & Shinnik Yaroslavl. Pogrebnyak then moved to Tom Tomsk, before joining Zenit St Petersburg and then Bundesliga club Stuttgart. The striker is full international and has eight goals in 30 appearances for Russia. A statement read: "Fulham football club is delighted to announce the signing of Russian international Pavel Pogrebnyak who will initially join the club until the summer."
