Tottenham assistant manager Kevin Bond has revealed Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe are major doubts for Monday's trip to Liverpool.

Spurs also waiting on Van der Vaart

Tottenham assistant manager Kevin Bond has revealed Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe are major doubts for Monday's trip to Liverpool. Defoe and Lennon missed Tuesday's win over Wigan after picking up hamstring problems in the FA Cup victory at Watford last Friday. The England duo are battling to be fit for the clash at Anfield and Bond admits they will give both players every chance to make the game. "Aaron and Jermain are being treated, both are extremely doubtful for Monday but obviously we'll give them every chance," Bond told the club's official website. "The medical staff are working hard to see if they can get them there." Bond is also waiting to see if Rafael van der Vaart will recover in time to face Liverpool after suffering a calf problem against Wigan, but Kyle Walker should shake off a groin problem to play. "Rafa went off with a calf strain and it's a bit early to say what his prospects are for Monday. Kyle Walker should be fine," added Bond.
