Poland international committed to Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has insisted he is happy at the club and is dismayed by reports linking him with a move to Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich. Lewandowski helped Dortmund become German champions last season and has gone from strength to strength this term, netting 14 goals in 20 appearances. He was connected with a switch to Chelsea before Christmas and speculation has now suggested he could be on his way to Bayern in the summer. The Poland international has dismissed such stories by stating that he is fully committed to Dortmund and may even be willing to sign a new deal, even though his current contract does not expire for another two-and-a-half years.

Signal

"I do not want to hear anything like this. There is no way I could imagine leaving Dortmund," Lewandowski told kicker-Sportmagazin. "I am a player of the reigning Bundesliga champions, why should I move to Bayern? "I am under contract until June 2014. At first I need to receive a signal from the club, then I would think my situation over. "I would not rule out (signing a new deal)."
